This was Pete's URL to make millions of dollars in real estate.
He died before that could happen. So I'm keeping it up as a reminder
of how much I miss him and how much he taught me about business and marketing.
And the MUSIC. Pete was a top notch musician with incredible creativity.
He had planned a concert of his music for summer 2004 at Spring Valley Lake
in Victorville, CA. It would have been a good concert.
Pete thought it was funny that when he went to Guitar Center he would often
be mistaken for a famous musician from the 70's or 80's. He just had that cool vibe.
Life comes and goes in the blink of an eye. Live it well and don't put anything off.
- Conrad Askland, your friend.
Other Info about Peter
PD Westman makes his Road Records debut on the CD compilation New Faces Volume Three with his song "Shelter". The piece is a very high energy AC/Pop song with a funk horn arrangement which could be compared to Peter Gabriel's smash hit "Sledgehammer"
Westman's music is very spiritual and the depth of his lyric writing could be compared to that of pop music artist "Sting". "Shelter" was written by PD Westman, and engineered at Road Records recording studio by Conrad Askland.
Pete "PD" Westman passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2004. The service was well attended by a large gathering of business associates, friends and a host of musicians Pete has played with over the years. Pete was instrumental in giving us business advice and insight over a span of 14 years and he will be greatly missed. His final piece at the studio, which remains unfinished, was a a folk song in 3/4 time called "Nap Town".
